High Schools from all over Las Vegas will compete in teams of 3 for Savory and Dessert on March 30, 2019.
The competition is held after the students conduct 5 workshops that dive deep into the science behind why eating healthy is important with plant-based being the theme. The workshop contains a workbook that has been contributed by series of certified wellness authors, who's work has been researched before being placed into the workbook.
The 5 workshops are Introduction to Healthy Cooking, Fats and Cholesterol, Sodium, Sugar and Diabetes, Portion Control and how to prepare for the competition.
We are excited to have these schools participate as they gear up to go for the GOLD!
Join us this summer as we put new locations in Miami, FL and conduct a beautiful Mango Recipe - Plant-based.
We will do a nice mango salsa topping for any dish as well as hand out Mango- Coconut Brownies, a summer favorite!
The recipe will be posted in July when the event date is announced.

The recipes she will teach you are budget friendly that you can get a Sprouts or Wal-Mart. She will show you how to pair your food so the foods work for you and not against you.
Absolutely! The entire session is a teaching tool to show you how to increase your metabolism at any age, little exercise tips on what to do as we age.
What to do if you are a teen and want to start eating healthy
Finally, she will introduce "Flavors for Life", a culinary movement she has partnered with to place in all school districts across the US.
